What type of company does TCL normally work with?
We work with a range of people to create smartphone applications, from individual entrepeneurs developing apps around their chosen interest or sport, to small and medium sized companies who wish to take advantage of the many business opportunities that the smartphone application market offers.
How long does it take to build a smartphone app?
This would depend on the platform, the complexity of the requirements, and therefore which type of app developer we assign to the project. However, most smartphone apps that we develop take between two to four months to complete, from the initial design phase through to publishing the finished application.
Would you consider sharing the development costs in return for a share of the profits?
A commonly asked question! Nonetheless, boring as it sounds, we are a software development company and not a venture capital firm and therefore it’s not something that we can consider. We have to devote our time to servicing our clients and providing the consistently high standards of work they expect.
What are the payment terms?
Clients pay fifty per-cent of the total build cost up front. The remainder is paid upon delivery of the finished application.
How much will it cost?
The costs of developing a smartphone application will depend on the platform and the complexity of the requirements. However, most apps that we develop cost between £3,000 and £6,000 (GBP).
